The piercing sound and vibrations of typical dental drills can be pretty bad, so we got rid of them.  Precision electric drills first emerged in Europe and then made their way to America.  Electric drills are much quieter and because there is very little vibration, there is much less pain.  We also can control the speed with precision, which allows us to slow it down, making it quieter and with less pain.  Many of our patients aren’t even numb for their procedures and have no pain.
